Bothriechis aurifer - the Guatemalan Palm Pit Viper, is a rare, beautiful inhabitant of pine forests in Guatemalan mountains. First group of these snakes we brought from Guatemala in 1986. Our 1987 captive breeding was most likely the first ever in the world.
